Girl bonding time

Now that I am off work, Lucy & I have been spending some quality time together painting nails (she insists on changing her color every day - pink, then red, then pink), making homemade popsicles, going shopping, and going to the zoo! (She also has to continue to go to daycare part time to keep her routine as normal as possible & to give me a break once in a while!)

On this particular outing to the zoo, Lucy was much more interested in playing in the gravel area near the penguins! She also wanted to spend close to an hour in the snake exhibit, which we had never been in because my husband has a deep fear of snakes...
