Cannon Beach

We recently vacationed in Cannon Beach for my father's 60th birthday. Lucy was in heaven - not only was she the center of attention for the whole weekend, but she got to spend hours on the vast beach running away from us! What a perfect weekend. We got some pretty cute pictures of Owen & Lucy on this trip (thanks bro)...Lucy was not the only one who liked the attention. Owen was all smiles for his uncles, auntie & grandparents...My mom found a gorgeous house right by the beach and town....The Craps table in the upstairs common room was a popular discovery. Adam & my brothers quickly looked up the payout rules on the internet...Lucy learned a thing or two about playing Craps...But, ultimately Lucy was most excited about the beach...She gave everyone a run for their money trying to chase her on the beach, but no one more than Auntie Mimi...
We all wish we were strong enough to use Adam's technique of throwing Lucy over the shoulder...Or, your other option is to just wear her down enough so that she falls asleep in your arms...We took advantage of the great backdrop for some posing...Adam thinks this one is a little creepy, but it is how Lucy likes to kiss me ("true loves kiss"). What you can't see in the pic is the way she tilts her head back & forth for the full princess effect...
