Celebrating our Japanese Heritage

The families of Wedgwood Montessori got an email 4 nights before the end of year celebration asking us to have our children dress up and to bring a potluck item in celebration of our heritage. Luckily Bubba pulled through with my childhood kimono. Lucy looked absolutely precious in her traditional Japanese attire and she felt very special too. Bubba also came over early to get Lucy dressed (as Adam had no clue and I was coming straight from work)...Lucy spotted me walking in late. What!? She is actually participating? This is the first of the four school performances in which she actually performed...Owen summoned his inner Geisha...Bubba wins the prize for most helpful in a pinch! She even brought our potluck item - Lucy's favorite Japanese food...Pocky! Don't you love the fanned display? This was a hit with the preschool group...
