Memorial Day - Daddy is home!

Yippee! Daddy came home on Monday morning from his weekend away at Uncle Ben's bachelor party in Leavenworth. Lucy and I had a great girls weekend (as you can see from the following posts), but boy, were we ready for some daddy time! We headed to Madison Park beach for some fun in the sun...

Lucy enjoyed her giant slice of Mad Pizza...Lucy made herself all kinds of new friends. She was not shy in the least...

Of course she also made me get down on all fours to build sand castles with her (she has become quite bossy)...
Lucy was also content to entertain herself on the beach. She is becoming pretty independent...Lucy's first experience with Ice Cream Joe! I don't remember the popsicles being this big when I was a kid!...
